Lerna May-Frandsen 
Lerna May-Frandsen has performed with the Georgetown
Symphony Orchestra, the Prince George's Philharmonic
Orchestra, the Landon Symphonette, and the Soulful
Symphony, and was a member of the Kinara String Quartet.
Lerna freelances in the Greater Washington, D.C.
area and has performed with famous musicians such as
Aretha Franklin, Denyce Graves, Smokey Robinson and
the late Ray Charles. She is a founding member of Umoja
String Quartet® and maintains a private teaching studio.
Lerna is the president of Entertainment and Literary Management,
Inc. She received a B.A. degree in American
Studies from the University of Iowa and graduated from the University of
Iowa College of Law.
