The Academy of Saint Cecilia Youth Orchestra is a non-profit organization that offers three performing orchestras, a Flute Choir, a Concert Band, and a beginning brass and woodwind program for aspiring young musicians.
Founded in 2001, the Academy of Saint Cecilia Youth Orchestra's mission is to serve the community by providing opportunity for young musicians to grow spiritually and attain musical excellence through instruction, rehearsal and public performances of the great musical compositions of the past and present.
All Academy of Saint Cecilia Youth Orchestra ensembles perform a fall and spring concert series each year in different venues in the Greater Washington D.C. area.
